- 3/4th cup maida
- 1/4th cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp coffee
- 1 tbsp less than half cup, oil
- Half Cup condensed milk
- Half Cup castor sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Half tsp baking soda
- 1/4th cup water
- 1 tsp coffee essence
- 1 tbsp choco-chips (optional)
Instructions to make to make Choco-Coffee Cake
- In a large bowl add condensed milk and castor sugar. Mix it well then add oil to it and again mix everything well till it is well combined.


- Now keep a strainer over the bowl. Then add all the dry ingredients like maida, cocoa powder, coffee, baking powder, and baking soda. Strain them. Then mix everything well together by adding water, little by little, without forming any lumps. Mix by using the fold and cut method, do not whisk the batter.



- Then add coffee essence to it and give it a mix. Finally, add some choco-chips and mix everything well again.



- Now for pre-heating, take a Kadai for pre-heating with its base covered with salt and a stand over it. Cover it and pre-heat the Kadai for 5 mins on high flame and then 3 mins. on medium flame.


- Now grease a cake tin with oil, apply butter paper over it, now pour the cake batter into it. Dab it twice so that the air bubbles get removed. Now you can sprinkle it with some choco-chips over it, as shown below.

- After 8 mins of pre-heating, place the cake-tin over the stand & immediately cover the Kadai & bake it on a low flame for about 45 mins approximately. After 45 mins of baking, check it by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean then your cake is done.
